Have you ever heard the name of BANGLADESH? Do you know ‘Dhaka’ city, a capital city of Bangladesh? If yes, you will entirely agree with me. Yeah, I’m talking about our daily life, our country’s people who are homeless. ‘Homeless’ it’s a common word, yet to us who are reading this piece sitting at our comfortable reality, the concept is far from familiar. When we walk down the streets of Dhaka, we stop at any traffic signal and there are little children, at an age when they should be playing or be at school, sitting love from parents and relatives selling flowers. Their dirty faces and discolored hair hint at the stark difference between your own children and theirs. Here, it makes me a question-” Why are there so many homeless people in Dhaka and why are the numbers increasing? We don’t have to look very far. They are not original residents of the city. I learnt that the increase in garments and other factories in Dhaka has led to an influx of people into the city looking for jobs. In some cases there are whole families who are homeless. However, we all should think about it as well as try to find a way at any rate as early as possible.
