Completing Story: Title: A Race between a Hare and Tortoise
Long ago there lived a hare in a forest. He was always proud of his speed. A tortoise also lived nearby. The hare always teased the tortoise for his slow speed. The hair said, “I think, you can talk ever faster than you can run.” Then the tortoise made a proposal to run a race with the hare. The hare agreed to the proposal gladly. The race began. Other beasts of the forest were invited to watch the race. After running for a while, the hare reached near the goal. The hare thought that tortoise would not be able to run past him and was lagging far behind. Thinking this, the hare wanted to have a little rest and fell asleep. But the tortoise continued running. He came near the sleeping hare and ran past him. In the mean time, the hare woke up and failed. Winning the race the tortoise laughed a hearty laugh and the hare became ashamed of his tall talk.
It proverbs, “Slow and steady wins the race.”
