If we look at the developed countries, we find that the root of their development is education. An educated nation can take the country to the highest peak of development. Everybody should realize that education is light. We can expect that the people.
You know- The Geneva Convention of the United Nations have identified some basic rights for the children and these are-
1. Right to protection from all kinds of threats
2. Right to live and survive
3. Right to education
4. Right to healthy physical and mental development
5. Right to health and hygiene &
6. Right not to be forced into labor.
Thus the children should be protected from all kinds of threats. The society should ensure and maintain such conditions as world safe-guard them against all situations that might endanger their life and survival. They should be given opportunities to cultivate virtues and imbibe good thoughts. In fact, adequate care should be taken in all respects so that the children can enjoy their rights and grow up to be useful citizens and worthy men. It is said that children are the backbone of a nation. It is the children who grow up to be the future of a nation. So it is the duty of every citizen to treat the children nicely and to ensure a proper living for them. We also need to provide our children with the basic necessities of life. Moreover, we have to be conscious about our children’s problem at any rate.
